Whether you are a mother or father, daughter or son, everyone has a parent story to tell. On May 18, join us for a night of six-word sagas about parenting, your relationship with a parent or that miraculous, messy thing we all go through called growing up.

SMITH Magazine, home of the Six-Word Memoir project, presents an exciting lineup of writers and performers who will offer their own six words and backstories on the loving, hating and never-dull moments with those they call family. At the end of the night, we invite you to share your own six words on mothers and fathers in an audience participation Six-World Slam.

Lineup includes:
